What is it like to be a designer of a single product in a multi-site multi-timezone context? How can you consistently maintain its quality while having multiple cross-disciplinary teams interacting on different aspects of the product? Our method is to shift towards more transparent and collaborative intelligence through Atomic Research. Break down and analyse relevant insights in order to build a common knowledge and business intelligence, fuelling your product backlogs and growth relay.
This workshop aims to help designers working in an agile framework industrialise the end-to-end process of turning user tests results and analytics into an indexable and searchable shared database, as well as convey the necessary developments via user stories, and implement them in a DesignOps mindset.
During the course of this workshop, participants will experience through exercises:
1. how to segment raw qualitative and quantitative data into atoms of knowledge, to be analysed, tagged and sorted into an already established and shared database.
2. how to use the newly gathered knowledge to deliver rapidly, using a common design system.
Systematising the use of these collaborative processes and tools breaks information silos between the independent teams and expertise (designers, growth hackers, data scientists, product owners…), and increases coordination between designers collaborating from different locations and time zones. It enables enhanced productivity by shortening delivery time.
Alexandre holds a master’s degree in industrial design from Strate and has been working as a designer for 6 years. He worked in England for Orange UK, created a startup in San Francisco in 2016. He returned to France and worked on industrial projects for Safran, Weber and SIAAP. He also works on IT security projects before joining WeDigitalGarden in 2018 where he works for digital factory for Sodexo and Air liquide.
Magdalena has worked as a UX and Service Designers for five years in Poland and France. She joined WeDigitalGarden in 2017, and has worked on projects for AXA, Kering, Sodexo, as well as for French ski resorts: Val d’Isère and Ménuires. For 3 years, Magdalena was an organizer and a member of a program committee for the MCE Conf, the largest Central European technology conference. Currently, she is still involved in the community as a speaker. This year, she was invited to share her experience at the UX Healthcare conference in London.
FrancoAmerican and a graduate of Parsons School of Design in 2011 (Bachelor of Fine Arts), Noëlle worked as a designer for six years in New York before joining WeDigitalGarden in Paris, in 2017. She works on multiple digital and service design projects for clients such as L’Oréal, BMS, AXA, Weber StGobain, Chanje and many more. Noëlle has previously spoken in and led workshops at conferences such as EuroIA (2018) and UXCBrighton (2019).
FrancoPersian, Matthias graduated from ESSCA business school with a specialisation in digital marketing and project management in 2012 and from Gobelins in user experience and service design in 2014. He worked four years on digital transformation projects, mobile apps and innovative customer journeys, before joining WeDigitalGarden in January 2018, where he has worked on digital projects and service design for BrystolMyers Squibb, Weber StGobain, ADP, Sodexo in Europe as well as AXA, Kindercare and Chanje in the US.
